On Wednesday, September 18th, we will kick off Round 4 of our $100K in 100 Days Challenge!
The goal is super simple...give agents all the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to add an additional $100K of new GCI into their pipeline within 100 days.
During the first round of this challenge, by Day 96, my personal GCI tracker was over $233K in new GCI into the pipeline! That was all generated with ZERO dollars out of pocket. No ad spend. No paid lead generation. No marketing budget of any kind. ZERO out of pocket!

Let’s talk about two little acronyms that might sound techy but can make a huge difference in your business—SEO and SEM. I know, I know, you’re in real estate to sell houses, not to geek out over digital marketing jargon. But stick with me here because this could be the difference between being the go-to agent in your market and being invisible.
What the Heck Are SEO and SEM?
Let’s break it down:
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization): This is all about making sure that when someone Googles “best real estate agent in [Your City],” your name pops up before they’ve even finished typing. It’s like making sure your store window is so clean and shiny that everyone on the street can see the amazing things you’ve got inside.
- SEM (Search Engine Marketing): Think of this as paying for prime real estate on Google. You’re basically buying ads that get your name and services in front of people searching for exactly what you offer. It’s like putting up a billboard in the middle of Times Square, except you’re doing it online, where everyone is looking.
Why Should You Care?
Simple. You could be the best real estate agent in your market, but if no one knows you exist, what’s the point? SEO and SEM help you get seen and get found. They are the modern-day equivalent of having your face plastered on every bus bench, billboard, and shopping cart in town—except smarter, more targeted, and way more effective.
Imagine this: Someone is looking to buy or sell a house in your area. They hit up Google (because, of course, they do). Now, if your SEO game is strong, they’ll see your website, read your content, and realize, “Hey, this agent knows their stuff.” If your SEM is on point, they’ll see your ads first thing, and boom—you’ve just made a first impression without even having to leave your desk.
How Do You Get Started?
You don’t need to become a full-time digital marketer, but understanding the basics of SEO and SEM can give you a leg up. Start by optimizing your website with keywords that people in your area are searching for—like “homes for sale in [Your City]” or “top real estate agent near me.” Then, consider running a few Google Ads to get in front of those who are actively searching for an agent.
