Most Realtors celebrate at closing.

The paperwork is signed.

The keys are handed over.

The commission check arrives.

Then they move on to the next deal.

And that's exactly where the problem begins.

For most homeowners, the next transaction is years away. Depending on the market and life circumstances, it could be five, seven, or even ten years before they buy or sell another home.

That means many agents spend their entire careers stuck on what I call the Transaction Treadmill.

Close a deal.

Find a new client.

Close a deal.

Find a new client.

Repeat forever.

That's the mindset successful real estate investors understand better than almost anyone.
